New Banner Links Mobile Update
Many potential customers now shop online on a mobile device, so it’s important that your site looks beautiful not only on desktop but on tablets, mobile phones etc. There is a new update available within the banner links page to help you do just that.
The banner links page displays an image at 100% width to achieve the “banner” look. This works and looks beautiful, adding real wow-factor to any site. However, there is now a new option to help with your mobile site too.
Now you can set your banner links page to display the image to a maximum height, therefore making the images appear more in proportion when viewed on mobile as well as ensuring that they keep their wow-factor.
To do this go to My Websites > Pages > Edit Web Pages > select your banner links page > in the settings area, tick the box “at least 80 pixels less than full-screen height” and then in the dropdown menu select “always exactly”. Remember to save all.
However, it’s important to remember that the mobile version of your banner links page will always display what is in the centre of the image. So, to ensure that your pages look beautiful on every device, choose the right image for the right job and always check the page once you have made any updates or changes.
