As Anne of Green Gables said; “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers”. The colours are beautiful, everything is becoming warm and cosy and there’s just a hint of a chill in the air.
We love the appearance of reds, oranges and yellows in almost everything – from nature to clothes to food. The falling leaves are adding that October magic to the outside world and everywhere you go you will see pumpkins in all their shapes, sizes and colours.
Speaking of food, we also love the spiced desserts that start to pop up this month. I’m pretty sure there isn’t an apple dessert that we don’t like! Not to mention the wonderful seasonal drinks that begin around now. Hello, hot chocolate with marshmallows!
