Every job is different. Sometimes you need to give your client access to downloads, but want them to remain private to the rest of your site visitors. Sometimes you want your client to purchase prints at a special price, while your regular visitors continue to see your usual print and product pricing. Now, you can create custom access codes within a collection, allowing different visitors to benefit from different options or experiences depending on the access code used to enter the collection.
When would you use a custom access code?
One example would be; you are the photographer at a large trade fair or event. You have agreed, as a part of your fee, that the event organisers can download any photos from the event, for free, to use for promotional purposes for next years trade fair. However, all trade exhibitors can also purchase prints or downloads from the event. In this scenario, you would give all exhibitors the access code for the event and set the sales options to use a price plan for prints and downloads. However, for the event organisers, you would create a custom access code for the collection. This access code would allow free downloads, so that the client can download all of the images they want.
