Preparing Your Business For Father’s Day
If you are a family portrait photographer, this blog post is for you. Father’s Day is coming up so now is the time to get your business ready for the influx of orders and bookings. If you’re not sure where to start, here are three things you can start doing right now to maximise the sales potential of Father’s Day.
BRAINSTORM
If you’re not sure what you’re going to be offering this Father’s Day, now is the time to brainstorm some ideas. Try to think of some great photo gift ideas that will appeal to every customer and budget; for example mugs, cushions, mouse mats as well as some special options such as canvases and acrylics.
If you’re still stuck for ideas then stay tuned because we’ll be releasing our Father’s Day page set very soon!
PLAN YOUR MARKETING STRATEGY
Start planning your Father’s Day marketing strategy so that you have plenty of time to put everything in place. Here are a few things to consider:
- Think of some relevant blog content.
- Amp up your social media presence.
- Create banners and content that can be used for email marketing campaigns.
- Look into advertising with local publications.
- Drop leaflets at appropriate venues; for example gyms, schools, coffee shops etc.
UPDATE YOUR PRICES AND SERVICES
Take a few moments to re-evaluate your prices and services page. Make sure that all the information is still correct and that any links are still working and valid. Also make sure any expired offers or promo codes are removed so that your new offers will be clearly visible.
P.S Make sure your portfolio and blog are also up to date showing all current images.
