Saying Goodbye To…Java

As more browsers lock down the use of Java, or even restrict the use of it totally, it seems that the days of having Java as an easy to use upload method are numbered. Our own Java Uploader will be supported for another year but from the beginning of November 2017 will no longer be available.
Not to worry, there are plenty of alternative options, from HTML5 to FTP. The HTML5 uploader is sublimely easy to use, very safe, always available in the browser and doesn’t require any security updates. So, it is not the end of easy uploading, just a change of workflow and familiarity for the users still using Java.
