Selling on social media is now becoming the norm. For small, often locally-facing, photography businesses they are super challenging to maintain. They are becoming less and less common, as other methods of selling become more popular. The alternatives in this digital age are obvious and prolific in terms of their reach and choice. But how can you make them work to your advantage? Where should you put your energy?
The MPA has recently announced their 2017-2018 award winners, and we are thrilled to congratulate a number of our members!
There is now a dropdown “Search Type” with options of “normal” (set as default) and “bib mode”. This replaces the previous “Search Type” of automatically entering into bib mode if the custom search instructions contained “number”. We’ve set all current values to match the prior functionality so if your custom instructions contained “number” then we have automatically set the collection “Search Type” to bib mode.
Now when a collection is in bib mode, we have set the default search instructions to an appropriate value – “Search by race number or enter 0 for all untagged images” so that you, the photographer, don’t need to set your own custom instructions.
Father’s Day is on the 18 June 2017 so it’s time to start preparing your business and getting your offers out there to potential customers. So here is the new Father’s Day page set to download!
